One at the end of brood, definitely saw capped worker and drone cells, and one in the honey area. They are building fast! Too many mosquitoes out there today. Had to spray myself.
The second added empty is obviously being built on. If it actually dries out this weekend, I would like to go in and see where things are at. I probably have to add a couple more empty bars.
With eggs and ants inside the observation opening between plexiglass and wood. Killed them multiple times, always coming back. Sprayed bug killer on the inside wood of the window door and around the base of the stand feet. So far so good.
After the one they pretty much completely built out at the end of the brood. Did it with a veil and gloves, no smoke. Only slid the bars over enough to add another empty and about 250 popped up immediately. I had to walk away... Can't really do stuff without smoke, especially now with their numbers increased.
The original one was getting quite warped and bees were able to go around it. Also killed a whole colony of ants on top of the top bars. And pulled out two more honey bars to make a bunch more jars to give away.
