Inspected Hive 5/13/2019

Finally able to get in the (high 50s and sunny).  Celia helped! 

Of the three combs from last year, they repaired all the holes.  The have about 4 more full combs built, and one partial.  I added 3 more empty bars.

Supposed to be 70 tomorrow.

Bees are doing well

First orientation flights happened 1.5 weeks ago.  Colony is large, and building quite a bit of comb. Hope they have enough nectar.  The small yellow flowers around the lake seem pretty abundant right now. These bees seem slightly larger than last year's.  Not sure if that's possible.
