They are building pretty fast

The first new bees should be, or already have been hatching soon.  Again more rain and cold today, but a string of 80s coming up.

I made a home made OAV vaporizer with a soldering iron and tin foil.  Works fine.  Want to make sure I stay ahead of mites.

Bees are doing well

First orientation flights happened 1.5 weeks ago.  Colony is large, and building quite a bit of comb. Hope they have enough nectar.  The small yellow flowers around the lake seem pretty abundant right now. These bees seem slightly larger than last year's.  Not sure if that's possible.
