Two more bars, total to 17.

Added Craig's beetle buster trap filled with 1/2 vegetable oil, sat in diatomaceous earth under screen.

I did see one beetle a few days ago.  Will be interesting to see if this gets any.

I want to give them any advantage I can.

Bees are doing well

First orientation flights happened 1.5 weeks ago.  Colony is large, and building quite a bit of comb. Hope they have enough nectar.  The small yellow flowers around the lake seem pretty abundant right now. These bees seem slightly larger than last year's.  Not sure if that's possible.
