Bees are Bracing the Honey Comb to the Side Walls


  • Just as talked about in some books, the honey comb, being heavier, is being braced to the side window with a little bit of comb.  Looks like I'll need to cut this off when I do an inspection.
  • They continue to go crazy building out comb.  I am sure to add an empty or two.

Bees are doing well

First orientation flights happened 1.5 weeks ago.  Colony is large, and building quite a bit of comb. Hope they have enough nectar.  The small yellow flowers around the lake seem pretty abundant right now. These bees seem slightly larger than last year's.  Not sure if that's possible.
