Pretty Boring Now....

Nothing to do, other than hope they make it through the winter.  Has been pretty cold, and they are not flying.  At most I sometimes see a little movement inside the entrance.

Bees are doing well

First orientation flights happened 1.5 weeks ago.  Colony is large, and building quite a bit of comb. Hope they have enough nectar.  The small yellow flowers around the lake seem pretty abundant right now. These bees seem slightly larger than last year's.  Not sure if that's possible.
