Lots of nice days for the bees

They are still building, but my sense is they have slowed, so I assume they think they are good now with the brood space, and will be adding bars for honey as needed.

I need to check the lake for the little yellow flowers blooming yet or not.  I don't think I've seen them yet, which is strange.

Bees are doing well

First orientation flights happened 1.5 weeks ago.  Colony is large, and building quite a bit of comb. Hope they have enough nectar.  The small yellow flowers around the lake seem pretty abundant right now. These bees seem slightly larger than last year's.  Not sure if that's possible.
